Eye Lash extension

Will i require a patch test ?


Yes! Once your eyelash appointment has been confirmed. All clients are required to contact the clinic at least 48 hours before treatment to schedule a patch test appointment, this will last approx 10 minutes.




Can i wear my contact lens ?


No! All eye procedure require contact lens to be removed for the duration of the treament. However they can be worn before and after. Clients are required to bring their case to store the contact lens in.




Can i wear mascara on my eyelash extensions ?


Yes! even though mascara is not required since the extensions give the illusion of wearing mascara it can be worn. However the mascara used muct be water based. You must NOT use oil based or water proof mascara.




What are eyelash extensions?


Eyelash extensions are single strands of synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate the natural shape of lashes. They are applied to each individual natural eyelash one by one. Our lash artists will create a bespoke look, using a variety of extensions to build the right volume, length and curl to suit you.




What is the aftercare routine ?


It is advised to avoid touching and getting the lashes wet for at least 24 hours to allow the glue to fully dry. After the first 48 hours is is recommended to gently comb through the lashes with the spoolie provided to maintain and straighten the lashes.




What is differnece between cluster and individuals lashes ?


Individual lashes and single synthetic strands applied to your natural lash, whereas cluster lashes are made up of 3-4 strands fanning out and applied to your natual lash




How often will i need infills ?


When performed regularly infills keep your laseshs looking fresh and luscious. You may need them done more or less often depending on how well you maintain and your natural lash cylcle. Typically, clients get infills every 2-3 weeks, however some clients prefer to replace their full set every 4-6 weeks.









Payments

Can i pay in-store ?


Yes ! Clients can choose to book thier treatment online and pay in-store. Select this option at booking. In store we accept, Debit/Credit cards and cash. No cheques or international currency will be accepted.




Do you accept installment or payment plans?


Unfortunately we do not provide installment plans. However we do require a deposit on selected treatments. Deposits or full cost can be paid online or alternatively in store. If the treatment has be confirmed by deposit the remaining cost should be settled on the day of the procedure.





Eyelash Lift and Tint

What are the contraindications of eye lash lifting & tinting ?


Below are a list of conditions ( not inclusive) which may prevent or change the course of treatment. The therapist will inspect and confirm whether you are suitable. -Positive patch test -Styes -Conjunctivitis -Recent operation around the eyes -Cuts and abrasions -Inflammation/ infection -Pregnancy




What is the aftercare routine ?


It is advised to avoid touching and getting your lashes or applying mascara for at least 24 hour. Do NOT use eyelash curlers, and avoid getting them wet.




Will the lash lift damage my natural lashes?


No! All our staff are properly skilled and trained to ensure accurate lash lift and tint procedures




How long does lash lift and tinting last?


A lash lift and tint can last anywhere between 6 to 8 weeks. Results may vary from client to client depending their lash growth cycle. There are some situations that may cause the lift to drop/weaken prematurely such as swimming, use off harsh products or heat. If you find that your lift does not last the full 2 months, you can repeat the treatment after a minimum of 4 weeks from the inital treatment.

Health and Safety

How do you maintain sterility ?


Each station and eqipument is thoroughly disinfected before every appointment and after each treatment. For invasive procedures involving sharps, we use single use equipment which are discarded after each client. Gloves are also worn at all times during procedures and wash hands before and after





Brows

Am I a suitable candiate for Microblading ?


You can NOT have the procedure done if: - Under 18 years old - Pregnant - Easily scarred or prone to keloids - Diabetic - Known to have HIV or Hep B - Have a bleeding disorder ( such as hemophilia) - Undergoing Chemotherapy - Epilepsy The artist will confirm whether you are a suitable candiate




What is the aftercare routine for microblading?


Immediately after the procedure, the brow area will be cleaned. Once dried, a barrier cream will be applied on and around your brows. The barrier cream helps to keep the brow area dry while allowing the skin to breathe and help promote the healing process. This cream will stay on the skin for 3-4 days and will dissolve on its own. You may experience the following after the procedure: slight rednessswelling, itchiness and scabbing. These symptoms can last anywhere between 24-48 hours. You will be given specific instructions by our artist, to follow after treatment.

Prices shown are valid at the time however, may be subject to change. We do aim to keep our wesbite updated with any changes. We only accept cash instore but clients can make a deposit or full payment online!




Delay to appointment


Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If you arrive late please note you will be offered offered a shortened service, so that the next client treatment is not affected (this option will depend on on the treatment you have booked) . Alternatively you will be asked to resechule your appointment. Arriving more than 20 minutes late to your appointment will be classified as a no -show and fees will be applied




Health conditions


It is important that you inform us of any health conditions, allergies during your consutation as it is vital for our staff to identify any contraindications present. You will be require to complete a consent and consultation form prior to receiving your treatment.




Client Records


It is important for us to provide a service with good continuity. For this reason we choose to file and update client records to ensure that all staff are aware of any medical conditions and can continue to offer safe treatments. Consultation sheets will be filed confidentially and only information relevant to the cilent's treatment will be requested. If the client has not received any treatment with us in 2 years, the data will be disposed of appropriately.




Age Restrictions


We have a strict age policy with the minimmum age being 18 years old. This is due to some of our treatments altering the appearence which could be unsafe on younger individuals. If clients appear younger than the age restriction they could be asked for age Identiciation (only Picture ID is accepted)




Cancellation Policy


Beauté Lab requires at least 24 hours notice prior to any cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment. Failure to give 24 hours notice will result in a charge 50% charge of the service price. No-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee, to be paid within 24 hours. Failure to pay this will result iin you being prohibited from booking any further appointments.




Booking deposit


To secure a booking at beauté Lab a non-refundable booking fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service is required. This fee will be discounted off the cost if your treatment. Payment is it be made when you initially book, either online, bank transfer or in person by cash.
